Safe secure key code door access
In parking lot and salon video security to ensure safe and secure environment
A laundry service for towels, capes and gowns so you can concentrate on what is important…hair
A full complement of bowls and color brushes stocked and cleared so you can just grab and go.
Salon access available for 8am-8pm Mon/Wed/Fri, 8am-11pm Tue/Thur and 8am-5pm Sat. Additional hours available upon request.
Café refreshments provided to guests, bottled water, coffee, tea, snacks etc.
Locker service for you and your clients to secure safety for valuables.
Artist profile and clients photos included on our website and on all or social media platforms
Artists are allowed and encouraged to double book up to two clients and all clients are encouraged to bring their friends with the to their appointments

What We Offer your Client
An experience...
Modeled after early 2000’s NYC warehouse salons Angry Hair is set up with a “client immersive” open floor plan. Because… Historically, hair salons were places people went to get hair and makeup done AND to socialize. THAT MENTALITY HAS BEEN LOST.
A large percentage of today’s salons have their stations lined up in a row or the client is facing a mirror hung on a wall. This design doesn’t allow for the client to socialize. It only allows the client to interact with the people on their right or left. Our “client immersive” design was chosen to enhance the client experience by (in this case) allowing 12 or more people to easily enter into the same conversation.
An in-house tattoo parlor is front and center, in the thick of it all. Clients can add on a service while they wait, or view professional tattoo artists in action during their own hair appointments.
Again, front and center, a fully functioning stage (in conjunction with an hour-by-hour itinerary available on our website), guests are treated to a variety of entertainment from poetry readers, to painting classes or simply a classic album or movie being played.
An international and local art experience...
Throughout the walls of Angry Hair is the incredible artwork of Mark Catalina. Mark earned a Master's degree in Fine Art from Massachusetts College of Art and has exhibited his work for tens of thousands of people in Paris, New York, Connecticut and beyond. Mark Catalina passed away in 2013 and his estate has chosen to make us the exclusive gallery to display his work.
Whether your client has arrived early, you are running late or your client is simply undergoing “processing time” a self-guided tour of the over 20 pieces of fine art are the perfect distraction from time spent waiting. Additionally, as a courtesy to your clients we have an in-salon “client only” local art gallery. Specifically designed to allow your clients to display their artwork for sale with all proceeds going directly to the artist themselves and the charity of their choice.
Entertainment during appointment- From the first moment we set out to create this company, our goal was to create a nightlife during the day. From placing a tattoo parlor in plain view to building a stage. Where solo musicians, full out bands, DJs, artist and even paintings and yes… hair classes take place RIGHT WHILE YOU'RE DOING THEIR HAIR DONE.

Becoming an independent artist provides the ultimate freedom for you, your family and your career. It allows you to schedule clients on your terms and be your own boss. We make it very easy for you to afford becoming an independent artist.
Along with the many freedoms independent artist enjoy there are also added responsibilities you will need to be aware of. For example, do you have enough clients to afford your current lifestyle? Do you have a plan for retaining and acquiring new clients to afford the lifestyle you want to have? (an area Angry Hair can assist you in).

Let’s dive in- unlike working as an employee where you would typically receive either an hourly rate or sometimes between 35%-50% commission. Independent artist receive 100% of the service price directly from their clients. This means a great deal of money generated by you and your business, with our business to help.
As with any business you will accrue some expenses-
Backbar/hair products, rent, marketing/advertising, education, banking, salon software, business savings, insurance state/town licensing, etc.
